Ethics Review Process

WOMMA believes that every participant in word of mouth marketing has a vested interest in preserving its integrity. WOMMA is committed to developing, educating, communicating, and promoting best practices in the ethical conduct of WOM marketing throughout the industry and expects companies wanting to leverage their WOM efforts through WOMMA membership to set an example of high ethical standards for WOM marketing.

As part of WOMMA’s ongoing commitment to WOM marketing ethics, WOMMA has created a Membership Ethics Advisory Panel (MEAP), as well as a standard set of procedures for disciplinary actions against current members to enforce WOMMA's Ethics Code and review prospective WOMMA members for ethical practices.
